• You are passionate about keeping up with the latest research and techniques within the field

• You’re even more passionate about designing and implementing industry-leading solutions Requirements:

• Significant prior exposure to one or more speech synthesis techniques such as: o concatenative synthesis o rule-based formant-synthesizers o statistical-parametric speech synthesis based on HMM’s o articulatory synthesis

• Excellent C/C++ coding skills
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering, algorithm design, analyzing complex systems
• Self-starter with ability to track and monitor your own work load
• Proven ability to deliver complex solutions from end to end

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent NICE TO HAVES:

• Prior exposure to any of the following fields: o audio DSP o prosodic modeling o morphological analysis o text-to-phoneme conversion o pronunciation modeling o computational linguistics o machine learning o text processing

• Prior experience working in a fast paced start-up environment
• Proficiency with one or more scripting languages
