Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design infrastructure tools and services within governance standards, guiding deployment and solution development. You’ll mentor teams, maintain templates and playbooks, and ensure compliant, efficient engineering practices. You work at the intersection of production and development to optimize messaging middleware and data validation processes. You will translate business needs into technical blueprints and support scalable, low-latency architectures. Compensation / Benefits * Translate requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment guidance * Contribute to functional/non-functional product evaluation criteria across domains * Review or develop software to automate manual or inefficient processes * Evaluate reference models, blueprints, and playbooks; participate in on-site third-party product evaluations * Mentor infrastructure staff on validation methods to ensure compliance with standards * Promote an inclusive, healthy work environment and help resolve impediments * Provide operational and engineering support for messaging middleware; liaise between production and development teams * Define, automate, and maintain data validation, entitlements integration, and upgrade support processes * Optimize existing solutions and architectures; design resilient messaging architectures for low latency/high throughput * Adopt new skills and pursue ongoing competency development * Provide SME consulting on technologies and contribute to end-to-end engineering strategy * Follow reference models to ensure compliant design; assist analysts and translate business needs into technical artifacts * Develop software solutions addressing manual/repetitive work; support inclusive culture Tasks * 2-4 years in a UNIX/Linux production environment with hundreds of hosts * Minimum 4 years programming in Perl, Python, Bash or a C derivative * 2-4 years experience with SQL and NoSQL databases * HSM support experience with Utimaco and Futurex * Ability to coordinate with application and infrastructure teams during releases * Experience tracking and triaging vendor support tickets; collaborative in urgent production issue resolution * On-call production support experience * Troubleshooting production applications * Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills * Knowledge of Linux, Windows and general information security concepts; familiarity with TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP * Ability to diagnose issues in large multi-datacenter, multi-tiered environments Key requirements *
