Senior Systems Engineer (Onsite)

Experteer Overview In this role you will support complex, on-site aerospace systems by diagnosing anomalies, implementing workarounds, and maintaining system readiness. You will collaborate with customers, peers, and contractors to ensure reliable operation and effective incident response. You’ll apply technical knowledge across hardware subsystems and contribute to new system deliveries, training, and documentation. This position offers hands-on impact on mission-critical capabilities within a secure, on-site environment. Compensation / Benefits * Respond to anomalies and problems during off-hours * Monitor and log system conditions, alerts, and alarms * Maintain relationships with customers, peers, and contractors * Track subsystem hardware status and supporting monitoring scripts * Acquire and apply technical knowledge of hardware subsystems * Document discrepancies and implement workarounds/contingency plans * Contribute to testing, readiness, training, and deployment of new system deliveries * Maintain familiarity with formal procedures and select appropriate ones * Train new teammates on the system * Investigate root causes of issues Tasks * Bachelor in STEM with 5+ years of engineering experience * Experience with Cshell, PERL, or HTML * Experience with Linux and MS Office * Experience with Confluence/Jira * Active TS/SCI CI Poly security clearance with U.S. citizenship Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * life insurance * 401(k) match * paid time off
