Senior Software Engineer Content Management System

This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that’s creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Software Engineering Team reporting to the Senior Manager Software Engineering Content, you will support projects including Hilton.com and several customer-facing applications.

• Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field

• Three (3) years of experience developing large-scale web applications using Java, microservices, multi-threaded programming with an understanding of web design patterns

• Experience NoSQL databases (Couchbase, MongoDB), messaging architectures (Kafka, Redis, etc.), and front-end UI frameworks such as React, HTML, and CSS

• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), Docker, and using Git as version control with a team

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and quality

• This is a hybrid role and would require to be near one of our three US office locations (McLean, Dallas, or Memphis)

• Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or associate’s degree plus 5+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience

• Five (5) + years of work experience in Technology or a related field

• Content Management System professional certifications

• Experience building RESTful APIs and understanding of REST principles
