Experteer Overview As Principal Solution Architect, Embedded Platforms, you will shape how leading ISVs embed Sovos technology into their products. You’ll guide scalable integration designs, advise executives, and influence platform direction, mentoring other architects. You’ll work at the intersection of cloud architecture, product innovation, and global tax tech to drive embedded compliance solutions. This role offers strategic impact across partnerships and product strategy in a growing global company. Pay / Benefits * Lead strategic solution architecture for embedded partnerships, delivering scalable integration designs and roadmaps * Produce architecture documentation and implementation guides for partner integrations * Design enterprise-grade integrations using APIs, webhooks, cloud-native tech and modern patterns * Define governance, testing, and quality standards for partner integrations * Engage with executives and cross-functional teams to align product, engineering and compliance goals * Mentor and uplift other Solution Architects across the organization * Influence platform strategy and future capabilities for embedded compliance solutions * Support pre-sales discovery and collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Partner Managers, Sales Engineers and Compliance Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience * 10+ years in product/tax/ERP technology consulting or enterprise software engineering * Proven experience designing enterprise integration solutions using APIs, webhooks, cloud-native tech and modern architecture * Experience with tax compliance, ERP integration, e-invoicing or regulatory tech platforms * Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures and enterprise integration principles * Experience supporting ISVs through solution architecture, technical consulting or strategic partnerships * Proven ability to manage complex technical relationships with enterprise software vendors or strategic partners * Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior executives and translate technical concepts into business outcomes * Strong collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success teams * Willingness to travel approximately 10 to 25% for partner engagements, customer meetings and industry events Key requirements * Flexible Time-Off * Bi-Weekly Meeting Free Days * Mentoring Programmes * Globally Recognised Training and Development Programmes * Competitive Benefits
