Senior Power BI Devloper

1. Production Support & Maintenance (Critical)

• Provide end-to-end support for Power BI reports and dashboards in production
• Monitor report performance, data refreshes, and data accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve:
• Data discrepancies
• Report failures
• Performance issues
• Manage incident resolution and ensure SLA adherence, * Develop and maintain paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
• Deliver pixel-perfect financial and operational reports
• Implement:
• Report bursting (department/store-wise distribution)
• Scheduled subscriptions
• Parameterized reporting

1. Advanced Analytics & Data Modeling

• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations
• Build optimized data models (star schema, aggregation layers)
• Support advanced analytical use cases:
• Trend analysis
• Forecasting inputs (if required)
• Financial variance analysis

1. Data Integration & Platform Collaboration

• Work with data sources such as:
• Snowflake , SQL Server, APIs
• Collaborate with data engineering teams for data readiness
• Ensure high-quality, reliable datasets for reporting

1. Governance & Deployment

• Manage Power BI Service :
• Workspaces, datasets, and dataflows
• Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Deployment pipelines
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards

1. Stakeholder Management (Key Requirement)

• Engage directly with Finance stakeholders to understand reporting needs
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Provide regular updates and insights to leadership
• Act as a trusted advisor for reporting and analytics

Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, * 15+ years of overall IT experience

• 10+ years in BI / Data Analytics / Reporting
• Strong experience in production support and maintenance of BI solutions

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Strong experience in:
• Paginated Reports (Power BI Report Builder / SSRS)
• Advanced DAX and data modeling
• Power Query (M language)
• Strong SQL expertise
• Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms, * Experience with dbt or modern data stack
• Exposure to Azure ecosystem (ADF, Synapse)
• Experience in Finance reporting and reconciliation
• Knowledge of report bursting and subscription models
