Job description
Reporting into the senior Digital and Transformation leadership team, you’ll take ownership of a complex programme comprising multiple interdependent workstreams spanning technology, business change and user adoption.
Working alongside senior leaders, Product Managers, Transformation Leads, suppliers and volunteer representatives, you’ll ensure the successful delivery of the programme while balancing technical implementation with organisational change.
The programme has a strong user-centred focus, with volunteers playing a key role throughout the design and implementation process. Success will depend on your ability to build relationships, influence without authority and create consensus across a complex matrix organisation., * Lead the successful delivery of a large-scale Salesforce CRM transformation programme.
- Drive the rollout of Salesforce to support over 80,000 volunteers.
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring delivery remains aligned to programme objectives.
- Work closely with implementation partners and third-party suppliers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead programme governance, planning, RAID management, reporting and benefits realisation.
- Manage programme budgets, risks, dependencies and resource allocation.
- Engage senior stakeholders across Digital, Membership Services and Executive leadership.
- Collaborate with volunteer groups to ensure the solution is user-focused and meets operational needs.
- Coordinate and influence approximately ten Programme Managers, Product Managers and Workstream Leads within a matrix environment.
- Ensure successful business readiness, change management and adoption ahead of Release One.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout programme delivery., * Leading complex Salesforce CRM implementation programmes.
- Delivering large-scale CRM or Digital Transformation projects from mobilisation through to implementation and business adoption.
- Working across multiple interdependent workstreams within complex matrix organisations.
- Managing programme governance, budgets, RAID logs and executive reporting.
- Building strong relationships across business, technology, suppliers and end users.
- Leading multidisciplinary delivery teams without direct line management responsibility.
- Delivering technology-enabled business change rather than purely technical projects.
- Managing third-party implementation partners and suppliers.
- Supporting user-centred design, stakeholder engagement and organisational change.
Requirements
- An experienced Programme Manager with proven CRM delivery experience (Preferably Salesforce).
- Comfortable operating within complex matrix organisations.
- Collaborative, approachable and able to influence without relying on hierarchy.
- An excellent communicator who can build trust across technical teams, senior leaders and volunteers alike.
- Passionate about delivering technology that genuinely improves user experience.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working in fast-paced delivery environments.
Desirable Experience Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Salesforce CRM implementation programmes.
- Charity or not-for-profit organisations.
- Membership organisations.
- Volunteer-led organisations.
- Large-scale customer or user-facing digital transformation.
- Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery environments.
- MSP, APM, PPQ or equivalent Programme Management qualifications.
Benefits & conditions
This is a 3-6 month Contract, paying £500-£700 (Some flexibility) per day Inside IR35. Requiring 2 days per week in their offices in West London.

The organisation is looking for someone who can join immediately and lead the programme through its first major release in November, with an initial contract running until mid-December and the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role.
