Junior Trading Support Engineer - Prop Trading 100,000 Plus BonusQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Junior Trading Support Engineer to join a high profile trading firm in London.We are looking for engineers who can be responsible for designing and supporting highly available systems across a diverse technology stack.You will join a small global team who are focused on a new part of the business around trading various assets - it is therefore paramount to have good communication as you will in a close working environment virtually across the globe.The Systems Engineer Engineer will be providing consistent, high performing, stable infrastructure for trading desks, developers, and other internal teams You should take pride in enabling traders and engineers to run their applications at the bleeding edge.Work as part of a team to establish best-in-class production support, efficient software deployment, configuration processes, and proactive monitoring, with a goal of

anticipating and avoiding issues before they occur, minimizing downtime and quick recovery from any incidents. Required Skills & Experience: Experience supporting mission critical systems and high performance applications Minimum of 1 years working in trade support, app support or site reliability engineering Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field Have exposure to VCS, particularly Git/Github Have demonstrated scripting abilities in Python and Bash Comfortable with SQL Comfortable with Linux and the command-line Financial Services experience Someone who thrives in high-pressure situations while working alongside traders, developers and other engineering teams Experience developing proprietary process automation and monitoring tools to streamline software configuration and rollout procedures The environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
