Job description

As an AI-native generalist, you will take ownership of resolving technical blockers, developing Kotlin/TypeScript features, and prototyping AI agents and dashboards, while leveraging cutting-edge tools like Claude Code, agent chains, and MCP servers to drive rapid product implementation and production stability., You will work directly with the CEO as a technical generalist, removing technical blockers across the entire technology stack. You will develop features, configure systems, build integrations, investigate technical challenges, and create prototypes-exactly where the greatest impact is currently needed.

This is not a pure engineering role and not a pure product role. It is operator work with technical substance: you will read and write code, design architectures, work with infrastructure, and reliably bring solutions into production. The decisive factor is not processing tickets but sustainably resolving technical blockers and quickly validating new ideas.

You work AI-natively: Claude Code, agentic workflows, and automation tools are part of your daily toolkit., * Identifying and independently resolving technical blockers in customer projects, product development, or infrastructure

  • Implementing features in the Kotlin backend or TypeScript frontend and targetedly expanding existing systems
  • Configuring customer-specific workflows, integrations, and automations
  • Implementing new concepts as prototypes: AI agents, integrations, internal tools, or dashboards
  • Reviewing pull requests with a view to system boundaries, architecture, and component transitions
  • Investigating production issues together with the engineering team and taking responsibility for their resolution until completion
  • Consistently utilizing AI tools: Claude Code, agent chains, MCP servers, and customized automations are part of your standard toolkit, * Not a traditional software developer position with responsibility for a single codebase - you work where technical solutions create the greatest value
  • Not a pure product management role - you technically implement solutions yourself instead of exclusively documenting requirements
  • Not a data science or ML research position - the focus is on transforming AI technologies into marketable products
  • Not a remote-only position - collaborating within the Munich team is an important part of the role
  • Not a role for people who consider AI tools optional - modern AI development tools are part of your daily way of working

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable practical experience
  • Confident handling of existing codebases in Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, or Python - you can implement features independently and expand existing systems
  • AI-native way of working: You use Claude Code or comparable tools daily, develop your own small tools, and know both the strengths and limitations of AI assistants
  • Systemic thinking: You understand components, interfaces, error scenarios, and technical trade-offs
  • Enjoyment of ambiguous situations: Requirements evolve, priorities change, and clarity arises through the work
  • Personal responsibility: You take ownership of a blocker and drive it to a solution - even if you have to learn new things along the way
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills and German language skills
  • Residence in the Munich area or willingness to relocate

Nice to have

  • Experience with LLM integration (RAG, tool use, agent architectures, evaluations)
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, or self-hosting
  • Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, automotive, healthcare, or finance
  • Contributions to open-source projects
  • Self-developed tools, AI agents, or automations that go beyond simple demo projects

Benefits & conditions

  • Attractive and competitive salary package with performance bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits, including healthcare and pension plans
  • Career opportunities in a rapidly growing area of AI development
  • Involvement in pioneering projects within an AI-driven corporate environment
  • The opportunity to become part of a dynamic team at the forefront of technological innovation
