Job description
- Lead, develop and coordinate a globally distributed team of IT/OT professionals across multiple international sites, fostering collaboration, capability building and while ensuring alignment with business priorities and stakeholder expectations worldwide.
- Develop and coordinate the IT/OT digitalization roadmap together with Business, Operations, BPM and Corporate Functions, ensuring alignment with business priorities, production needs and the approved project portfolio.
- Identify, assess and structure digital business cases, including benefit and profitability evaluation, and prepare them for prioritization and decision-making within the regular project portfolio and governance process.
- Design and implement IT/OT-supported process improvements, contributing in hands-on value creation and in managing digital initiatives.
- Harmonize and optimize IT/OT solutions across sites, working closely with BPM, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Corporate Functions.
- Coordinate strategic IT/OT transformation initiatives end-to-end, aligning senior stakeholders across the Business Unit to ensure adoption, business value and sustainable resultsprojects end-to-end, from demand management and solution evaluation to stakeholder alignment and rollout.
- Act as the central interface to the OT 4.0 organization, ensuring governance, documentation standards, and capability building and drive change management, adoption and benefit tracking for digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business informatics.
- Proven leadership experience in international and matrix organization, combined with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across different functions, cultures and organizational levels
- Several years of professional experience in IT/OT, with a strong background in processes, project management, and implementation.
- Excellent business acumen as well as strong process and IT affinity, familiarity with ongoing process documentation initiatives is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing tools (e.g., MES), as well as very good SAP skills.
- Strong capability to operate confidently across all hierarchical levels, manage diverse stakeholder expectations, inspire teams and challenge the status quo
- Professional fluency in German and strong English communication skills.
