Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead the data science component of Talent strategy work, blending research design, statistics, ML, and application development to tackle workforce challenges. You’ll partner with Talent, business, and IT stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, tools, and recommendations. You’ll shape research design and analytical methods while mentoring junior data scientists across the analytics lifecycle. This position sits within Deloitte’s Talent Experience & Engagement and People Analytics teams, focusing on strategic AI and GenAI initiatives to drive workforce decision-making. Compensation / Benefits * Shape analytics strategy and prioritization within the People Analytics portfolio * Collaborate with Talent, business leadership, and ITS to define needs and communicate complex AI concepts * Design analytical work, plan use cases, and apply advanced statistics and ML methods * Develop full-stack GenAI applications for Talent reporting and operations * Partner with data engineering on pipelines, ETL, version control, and CI/CD * Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists across the analytics lifecycle * Lead analytically complex projects, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results Tasks * Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline * 6+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied research * Proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS * Experience with multivariate statistics and ML methods (e.g., regression, SEM, factor analysis, decision trees, clustering, dimension reduction) in Apache Spark or Databricks * Experience developing AI/GenAI applications and ETL/pipeline design * Demonstrated experience leading AI strategy and adoption of AI/data engineering tools * Mentorship experience across the analytics lifecycle * Ability to travel 0-10% * Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Disability accommodations available * Broad range of benefits described by Deloitte
