Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you drive delivery on GPS HST technology engagements, leading or supporting implementation, operations, and development workstreams for government programs. You collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure quality deliverables, manage client relationships, and create value through strategic and technical execution. The position offers exposure to systems integration, eligibility workflows, and modern tech stacks in a mission-driven public services context. You will help shape outcomes for clients, partners, and constituents through hands-on delivery and leadership. Compensation / Benefits * Support implementation and operations management best practices while owning tasks and guiding junior professionals * Lead or contribute to workstreams across systems implementation, operations & maintenance, and software development & maintenance * Contribute to deliverables and review others’ work for quality * Demonstrate understanding of client environment and project scope * Manage client and team relationships including value creation activities Tasks * 4+ years of consulting and/or industry experience * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university * 4+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and related frameworks * Front-end development experience with JavaScript, CSS, JSPs, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Bootstrap) for eligibility workflows and case management UIs * Experience with web services (REST, SOAP), XML/JSON processing, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) * Skilled in interface and data exchange design using Java/J2EE and REST services with data mappings, control points and error handling for integrations * Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) * Strong understanding of data structures, APIs, debugging, version control, system design concepts (scalability, reliability, security, integrations) * Proficiency with Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) for eligibility decision logic; experience with batch processing frameworks (Spring Batch) and secure data exchange protocols * Ability to travel 0-10% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available * Preferred: State public assistance system experience and eligibility rules engines Key requirements *
