Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and implement user interfaces for advanced optical inspection and laser processing systems. You will translate UX designs into robust .NET apps, collaborating with UX, product, and backend teams to deliver intuitive, scalable interfaces. You’ll work in a fast-paced startup environment, tackling complex UI challenges that connect hardware control with software applications. You’ll contribute to disruptive metrology and hardware-software integration, shaping best-in-class UI solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop user interfaces with a user-centric focus, spanning hardware control and application software * Build, maintain, and refactor UI code using C#, Blazor, XAML/WPF, and related technologies * Propose UI/architectural options to stakeholders for functional, maintainable results * Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend developers for seamless UX * Convert Figma and other mockups into pixel-accurate .NET implementations * Troubleshoot, optimize performance, usability, and stability of UI components * Participate in code reviews and adhere to git-flow and best practices * Integrate third-party libraries for visualization and interaction * Implement automated tests (unit/UI tests) and support CI/CD practices * Contribute to agile processes and communicate issues to team and leadership * Mentor junior engineers through reviews, PR feedback, and pairing * Adapt to new tech stacks and architectures while maintaining quality * Support major UI feature enhancements and upgrades on key projects * Travel up to ~10% domestically and internationally to support projects or customers Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience * 3+ years of professional software development experience * Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming * Experience with .NET frameworks and WPF * Hands-on experience with Blazor, Razor, or MAUI; or ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms with HTML/CSS * Proficiency in UI technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS) * Experience interacting with REST APIs or similar integration mechanisms * Experience in Azure ecosystem and Azure DevOps or similar tools * Hands-on experience with CI, package management, containerized builds, and git-flow * Demonstrated test automation (unit tests, UI tests) and quality-focused practices * Experience working in agile environments * Excellent written and verbal communication * Ability to ramp up quickly on new codebases, architectures, and technologies Key requirements * Medical, dental & vision * 401(k) with pre-tax and Roth options * Life Insurance and AD&D * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Paid time off
