SITEC - IT Specialist (SR) - Fort Bragg, NC

Experteer Overview In this role you support the SITEC - 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance task order at Fort Bragg, delivering Tier 1-2 IT and network support across LAN/WAN, VTCs, phones, and endpoint systems. You coordinate with the networking team to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with DoD standards. You drive technically integrated solutions, monitor systems, and provide lifecycle support for USSOCOM networks. Compensation / Benefits * Provide Tier 1-2 network, systems, and phone support per SIE OPORD * Administer network and communications systems (routers, switches, VTCs, phones, laptops) * Create monitoring reports and manage equipment logs; ensure link functionality * Coordinate IT administration with networking team; document long-range requirements * Prepare technical implementation plans with milestones and timelines * Research standards to ensure network compliance * Provide responsive IT system performance (availability, reliability, throughput) * Lifecycle support of LAN and WAN infrastructures * Install, tune, test, operate, monitor, upgrade, patch, and defend WAN/LAN hardware and software * Configure and repair LAN/WAN and wireless networks including VPNs, encryption, and PORs * Manage VLAN architectures and security across USSOCOM networks * Provision and monitor secure VPN services for remote elements and partners * Troubleshoot and analyze effects of architectural changes on networks * Collaborate with government and commercial circuit providers to restore outages * Provide mobile device and CSfC kit support * Some roles may require non-standard or shift work to support USSOCOM mission Tasks * BS + 8 years of experience OR HS + 12 years OR AA + 10 years * DoD TS with SCI required * DOD 01-M IAT II certification required * Strong technical skills across network protocols, software, hardware * Comprehensive knowledge of Government hardware, software, and network components * Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and diagnostic skills; good communication Key requirements * salary range $80,000-$128,000 * overtime eligibility * shift differential * discretionary bonus * health benefits (implicit) * career advancement opportunities
