Lead Application Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will deliver and maintain IT infrastructure for Deloitte University and hotel operations, collaborating with senior engineers to deploy applications and ensure stable server and network environments. You’ll manage vendors, monitor backups and patches, and resolve production issues, while supporting internal clients. The role blends hands-on administration with project leadership in a hospitality-tech context. You’ll contribute to world-class technology services that enable leadership development and seamless experiences. Compensation / Benefits * Administer, configure, monitor and test application servers for business and network operations * Manage vendors to maintain system stability across locations * Provide recommendations for new technology solutions * Collaborate with senior engineers to implement applications and technology solutions * Monitor data usage, backups, upgrades, and patches for application servers * Respond to and resolve critical production issues * Provide services to internal or external clients as needed Tasks * 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Systems & Network environments and/or 6 years with advanced degree * 2+ years of Windows Server administration experience * Familiar with Windows Server editions, administration, and maintenance * Basic understanding of application troubleshooting * Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 * Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBS, Python, etc.) * Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field * Ability to travel 0-10% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
