Lead Application Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will provide hardware and software IT services for Deloitte University and internal staff, administering and monitoring application servers. You will work with senior engineers to implement solutions and coordinate with vendors to maintain stable systems. You will monitor backups, upgrades and patches, respond to production issues, and support internal or external clients. This role sits within Deloitte’s Technology & Infrastructure team, focused on hospitality-focused technology and infrastructure services that enable leadership development and smooth operations. Compensation / Benefits * Provide technical services for computer hardware and software at Deloitte University and for internal staff * Administer, configure, monitor and test application servers for business and network operations * Manage vendors to maintain system stability across locations * Suggest and evaluate new technology solutions * Collaborate with senior engineers to implement applications and technology solutions * Monitor daily usage data, backups, upgrades and patches * Respond to and resolve critical production issues * May serve internal or external clients Tasks * 8+ years of experience supporting IT Infrastructure Systems & Network environments and/or 6 years with advanced degree * 2+ years of experience supporting Windows environments including Windows Server administration and maintenance * Basic understanding of application troubleshooting * Microsoft Office/365 * Scripting protocols (PowerShell, VBS, Python, etc.) * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field and/or additional relevant IT related experience * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available * Ability to travel 0-10% Key requirements *
