Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead data architecture and integration across the Finance Operate Platform, partnering with CFOs and executives to modernize finance functions. You’ll translate platform requirements into scalable, audit-ready solutions and guide governance, security, and compliance. You will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver a data-centric transformation that enhances risk management and financial performance. This position offers meaningful client impact and exposure to large-scale finance transformations. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end data architecture and integration across Finance Operate Platform layers, including ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformation, quality controls, and consumption * Define and govern integration patterns (APIs, events, queues, batch) and data contracts between delivery portals, accelerators, and client ERP/subledger systems * Lead platform decisions on data tooling (e.g., Databricks, Alteryx) based on use case, scale, governance, and cost-to-value * Design and oversee the Agentic Layer data readiness pipeline (Phase 1: ETL, data validation, triage, remediation) * Serve as primary data/integration liaison for onshore client contract and compliance discussions * Collaborate with offshore Data Engineers and Solution Architect to deliver against the integration roadmap * Manage risks related to data quality, security, lineage, and regulatory compliance (SOX relevance) * Define non-functional requirements for integration solutions: performance, resiliency, security, auditability * Establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and reuse-friendly integration guardrails * Specify BI consumption patterns, metrics definitions, and data lineage documentation standards * Ensure designs meet enterprise security, compliance, and privacy expectations * Mentor Data Engineers and Integration Engineers across offshore teams * Champion Agile delivery; lead sprint planning and technical reviews for integration workstreams Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field * 7+ years of experience in data architecture, integration design, or data engineering in an enterprise environment * Hands-on experience designing end-to-end data pipelines and integration architectures * Strong grasp of API design, microservices, and event-driven patterns * Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and related data services * Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks relevant to finance operations (e.g., SOX controls, data privacy) * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical architecture into business recommendations * Ability to travel 25% on average Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations * focus on professional development * inclusive culture * global impact on clients * opportunity for cross-functional collaboration
