Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you shape data architecture and integration strategy for the Finance Operate Platform, partnering with CFOs and executives to drive finance transformation. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, governance, and compliance, ensuring scalable, secure, audit-ready solutions. You’ll lead cross-functional delivery, bridging onshore and offshore teams to deliver on the platform roadmap. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines architecture, governance, and client-facing collaboration to elevate financial operations. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end data architecture and integration across Finance Operate Platform layers, including ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformation, quality controls, and consumption * Define and govern integration patterns (APIs, events, queues, batch) and data contracts between delivery platforms and client ERP/subledger systems * Lead platform decisions on data tooling (Databricks vs. Alteryx vs. others) based on use case, scale, governance, and value * Design and oversee the Agentic Layer data readiness pipeline (Phase 1: ETL, validation, triage, remediation) * Serve as primary data and integration liaison for onshore-client contract and compliance discussions * Collaborate with offshore Data Engineers and Solution Architect to deliver the integration roadmap * Manage risks related to data quality, security, lineage, and regulatory compliance (SOX relevance) * Define non-functional requirements for integration solutions: performance, resiliency, security, auditability * Establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and reusable integration guardrails * Specify BI consumption patterns, metrics definitions, and data lineage documentation standards * Ensure integration designs meet security, compliance, and privacy expectations * Mentor Data Engineers and Integration Engineers; champion Agile delivery; lead sprint planning and technical reviews Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field * 7+ years of experience in data architecture, integration design, or data engineering in an enterprise environment * Hands-on experience designing end-to-end data pipelines and integration architectures * Strong knowledge of API design, microservices, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration concepts * Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and related data services * Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks relevant to finance operations (e.g., SOX controls, data privacy) * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate technical architecture into business recommendations * Ability to travel 25% on average Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * competitive compensation range ($128,000-$252,000) * provisions for reasonable accommodations * opportunities to work with cross-functional teams * global professional development and mentorship * career progression in a leading professional services firm
