Cyber AI Data Engineer Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you will build and operate governed data foundations for cyber risk, compliance evidence, and AI-enabled workflows. You will design production-grade data pipelines, data models, and governance controls to support risk reporting and audit-ready evidence, bridging data engineering with governance and compliance in regulated environments. You’ll develop AI-enabled capabilities to accelerate governance, risk, and cyber operations, while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This opportunity lets you shape scalable data platforms and trusted analytics for complex cyber risk programs. Compensation / Benefits * Build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines ingesting security telemetry, control evidence, and compliance artifacts into governed data stores. * Design data models for risk and controls domains, including KPIs, issues, risk acceptance, audit evidence, and policy exceptions; enable self-service analytics and dashboards. * Implement data quality, lineage, metadata, and access controls to support auditability and repeatable evidence generation. * Develop AI-enabled features to accelerate governance, risk, compliance, and cyber operations (evidence summarization, control testing assist, policy Q&A, investigation copilots, ticket triage, exception reasoning). * Engineer integrations between data platforms, governance workflows, and enterprise systems with observability and runbooks for production support. * Partner with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Legal to translate requirements into implementable controls and guardrails. Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience * 4+ years of experience in data engineering and software development using Python and SQL * Experience building production data pipelines and data models for batch/stream processing, deployed on cloud platforms with containers, IaC, APIs, and secrets management * Experience implementing data governance controls (classification, PII handling, least-privilege access, encryption, audit logging, lineage/metadata) * Experience supporting governance, risk, and compliance workflows (risk reporting, audit data requests, controls monitoring/testing, compliance metrics, tool integrations, and LLM-enabled applications with retrieval-augmented generation and secure access patterns) * Ability to travel 0-25%; known to be available for sponsorship potential Key requirements *
