Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Cyber Enterprise Security team, you help modernize client network security with cloud-delivered zero trust architectures. You implement and optimize Palo Alto Networks platforms (NGFW, Prisma Access, Panorama, Strata) across on-prem and multi-cloud environments, while shaping client solutions that integrate SIEM/SOAR and identity tools. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure transformations and measurable improvements in posture and user experience. This role offers impact at scale, shaping security for digital transformation initiatives. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks NGFWs across on-prem, AWS, Azure, and GCP * Implement and optimize Prisma Access (GlobalProtect, Prisma Agent, Prisma Browser) for secure internet and remote access * Administer Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager for centralized policy management and visibility * Configure and tune Threat Prevention, IPS/IDS, Anti-Spyware, Antivirus, WildFire, DNS Security, and SSL/TLS decryption policies * Develop client solution designs integrating Palo Alto platforms with SIEM/SOAR and identity providers, supporting automation with Terraform, Ansible, or Python * Engage with clients to design security architectures and present recommendations to stakeholders * Lead projects or workstreams and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments * Provide clear guidance to junior staff and foster professional relationships in a collaborative setting Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * PCNSE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering with Palo Alto technologies * 5+ years deploying NGFWs on-prem and in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) * 3+ years configuring Prisma Access and Secure Internet/Remote Access use cases * 3+ years managing Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager * 3+ years configuring Threat Prevention features and SSL/TLS decryption policies * 3+ years defining and reviewing security policies and lifecycle * 3+ years experience with at least one cloud provider security toolsets and VM-Series in cloud architectures * Ability to travel up to 50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel up to 50% * accommodations for disabilities
