Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant, you help modernize enterprise networks with cloud-delivered zero trust using Zscaler. You’ll design, deploy, and optimize ZIA, ZPA, and related security features across on-premises and cloud environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable secure transformation. You’ll translate complex concepts for stakeholders and guide clients through VPN replacement and ZTNA adoption. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic guidance in Deloitte’s Cyber team. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) across client environments * Support zero trust network access transformations including VPN replacement and access control modernization * Configure and optimize Zscaler security features (policy administration, TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connectors in on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security, network transformation, and operations Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field * ZDTE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years designing and managing ZIA and ZPA in enterprise environments * 1+ years designing Zscaler Branch Connector and Zscaler Cloud Connector deployments * 3+ years tuning Zscaler security features (CBI, IPS, ATP, DLP) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection experience in ZIA * 1+ years experience with Zscaler AI capabilities (ZDX, AI-driven policy) * 3+ years defining and managing Zscaler security policies * Experience integrating Zscaler with major cloud providers and SIEM/SOAR tools * Experience with APIs and automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible, Python) * Experience with identity integrations (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) * Ability to travel up to 50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations * professional development * global team collaboration * flexible work arrangements * retirement and health benefits
