Cyber Zscaler Network Security Engineer / Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant, you help modernize client networks using cloud-delivered zero trust architectures. You will design, deploy, and optimize Zscaler capabilities across complex environments, strengthening security posture and enabling secure transformation across on-premises and cloud ecosystems. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful security solutions and trusted guidance for executive stakeholders. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic delivery in Deloitte’s Cyber Enterprise Security practice. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) across enterprise environments * Support zero trust transformations, replace legacy VPNs, and modernize access controls * Configure and tune Zscaler security features (policy admin, SSL/TLS inspection, ATP, DLP, cloud-based traffic inspection) * Implement branch, cloud, and application connectors across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Develop technical deliverables, solution designs, and client-facing recommendations aligned to security and network transformation * Architect and guide Zscaler Cloud Connector deployments within cloud-native networks * Collaborate with teams to integrate Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR platforms and automation tooling * Present Zscaler architectures to executives and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Tasks * BA/BS degree in a technical field * ZDTE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering * 5+ years hands-on ZIA deployment and management * 5+ years hands-on ZPA deployment and management * 1+ years Zscaler Branch Connector and SD-WAN replacement experience * 1+ years Zscaler Cloud Connector deployment in AWS/Azure/GCP * 3+ years configuring Zscaler security features (CBI, DLP, ATP, IPS) * 3+ years SSL/TLS inspection design and troubleshooting in ZIA * 1+ years with Zscaler AI capabilities (ZDX, AI-driven policy recommendations) * 3+ years managing Zscaler security policies and RBAC in Admin Portal * Experience with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity) * 3+ years deploying ZPA App Connectors in cloud * Experience integrating Zscaler with SIEM/SOAR (e.g., Splunk, MS Sentinel, XSOAR) * Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python for automation * Ability to travel up to 50% * Preferred: CISSP/CCIE/CCNP/GIAC equivalents * Consulting or Big 4 experience preferred Key requirements * Discretionary annual incentive program * Reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities
