Agentic Capability AI and Data Science Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, build, and maintain the agentic infrastructure powering AI-driven delivery at scale. You work within Deloitte’s AI & Engineering focus to reimagine operations and support clients’ digital growth. You will shape agent systems, reusable workflows, and context patterns to deliver high-quality AI outputs. This position offers cross-functional collaboration, impact on client outcomes, and opportunities to advance enterprise AI capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement agent system architecture and DevSecOps practices for AI workflows * Build and maintain AI agents, agent systems, and reusable skills/workflows for delivery teams * Develop prompts and context patterns to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs * Stand up MCP servers, CLI tools, and agent testing frameworks * Deliver platform configurations and integrations (CI/CD pipelines, environments, guardrails) * Standardize orchestration components for enterprise reuse * Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of agent delivery capabilities * Provide technical guidance to ADEs and AEMs on agentic infrastructure usage Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering * 7+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated platform or infrastructure impact * 5+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML systems in production * 5+ years of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Kubernetes) * 2+ years of prompt engineering and context optimization with measurable quality improvements * 2+ years of designing reusable tools, frameworks, or developer productivity infrastructure * Ability to travel ~50% * Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship * Ability to obtain required security clearance Key requirements *
