Job description

Experteer Overview As a Hardware Engineer at Amazon LEO, you help shape the next generation of satellite hardware and testing infrastructure. You will own circuit design and optimization for satellite systems and contribute to PoC prototypes that push performance at scale. You’ll collaborate with radiation, power, mechanical, thermal, RF, and software teams to bring concepts to production. This role offers meaningful impact in advancing global connectivity through cutting-edge hardware and robust test systems. Compensation / Benefits * Design and optimize circuitry for satellite systems * Develop proof-of-concept prototypes for next-gen satellite hardware * Collaborate closely with radiation, power, mechanical, thermal, RF, and software teams * Design automated test systems and factory test fixtures * Lead bring-up and qualification test campaigns for satellite hardware * Lead and review PCB layout Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent * 3+ years of industrial experience in board-level analog/digital design * 1+ years of high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, signal and power integrity * 2+ years of schematic design experience * 2+ years of using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) * 2+ years of experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout tools Key requirements * health insurance (medical, dental, vision) * 401(k) matching * paid time off * RSUs * sign-on payments * parential leave
