Experteer Overview In this Software Engineering Product Manager role, you guide technology across IMG, NSLLC, SBL and NRI within the Institutional Life Insurance space. You’ll drive portfolio strategy, financial governance, and engineering excellence to deliver secure, customer-centric solutions. You’ll partner with senior leaders to align initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements while fostering a strong engineering culture. This hybrid role in Columbus offers impact across multi-line portfolios and a chance to shape scalable technology outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Apply secure software and systems engineering practices across the delivery lifecycle to protect data and systems * Partner with leaders to optimize total cost of ownership and maintain application health * Develop and implement roadmaps considering business needs, competition, tech currency and information security * Manage risk controls and support internal/external audits * Support engineering build of the application suite and non-technical product efforts * Represent the voice of the customer in portfolio management discussions and business case planning * Hire and develop talent with coaching and feedback * Ensure delivery availability and resiliency per operating practices * May perform other responsibilities as assigned Tasks * Six years of experience in application suite management * Four+ years leading multiple technology teams * Strong SDLC knowledge and modern methodologies/tools * Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis * Ability to develop roadmap strategies and make data-driven decisions * Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills * Coaching and career development experience * Relationships with stakeholders and insurance/financial services domain knowledge a plus Key requirements * medical/dental/vision * life insurance * short and long term disability * paid time off * nine holidays * 401(k) with company match
