Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the OLCC IT Operations team to align IT services with the agency’s policy and strategic goals. You’ll guide standards, staffing, and budget decisions while ensuring staff development and diversity initiatives. You will partner with the CIO to shape the IT network, systems, and databases and participate in vendor and contract management. This is a flagship leadership position at a public safety regulator with a focus on delivery and compliance. Compensation / Benefits * Lead IT operations with hiring, performance management, and goal setting * Oversee reviews of hardware, software, networks, databases, and procedures * Ensure up-to-date position descriptions and training plans for staff * Plan staff training for domain currency and professional growth * Promote the agency’s affirmation action and diversity program * Ensure compliance with State of Oregon laws, rules, and policies related to technology * Plan, develop, administer, and evaluate the IT Operations budget * Manage IT Operations assets using best practices * Coordinate IT operations support for agency project teams * Provide technology consulting to the CIO for policy, strategic and operational IT planning * Participate in review and award of contracts and vendor performance criteria * Maintain regular attendance as essential * Coordinate with HR for position descriptions and recruitment Tasks * Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience * OR Three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field Key requirements * pension and retirement programs * 11 paid holidays a year * personal days and vacation accruals * advancement and learning opportunities * Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility * work-life balance
