Job description

Experteer Overview As a senior associate on Deloitte’s Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you contribute to building and operating Next-Generation SOC capabilities to help clients strengthen cyber resilience. You’ll design and deploy Cortex XSIAM-based platforms, integrate diverse log sources, and automate response workflows to improve incident containment. You will advise on threat detection use cases and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver practical, data-driven security solutions. This role offers meaningful impact by advancing clients’ security maturity and incident response readiness. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design and deployment of Next-Generation SOC platforms (Cortex XSIAM) and SOAR playbooks * Integrate log and telemetry sources for data quality and operational visibility * Develop and optimize automated incident containment and remediation workflows * Advise on threat detection use cases and SOC platform capabilities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate threat intelligence and present client findings Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field * 4+ years in cloud, network, or identity security (with 3+ years on AWS, GCP, or Azure) * 3+ years with SOC tools and platforms (Cortex XSIAM, Cortex XDR, Splunk or similar) * 3+ years in SOC operations including detection engineering, automation, and data handling * 3+ years with endpoint detection and response (EDR) and related governance/compliance work; relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CISSP, CEH, CCSP) * Ability to travel ~50% * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * reasonable accommodations
