Cloud Security Senior Consultant - Azure Infrastructure & AI

Experteer Overview In this role you help secure Azure-based architectures as part of Deloitte’s Cloud Cyber Risk team, shaping secure cloud deployments for clients undergoing digital transformation. You’ll assess risks, design mitigations, and guide remediation across governance, identity, data protection, and AI services. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver architecture diagrams, reports, and actionable recommendations, contributing to practice development and business growth. Your work supports clients in achieving resilient, compliant cloud operations while advancing Deloitte’s security capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, app security, PaaS, infrastructure, AI, monitoring, resilience, and data protection * Perform cloud security assessments, design solutions, implement changes, conduct health checks, and post-implementation reviews in Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 * Collaborate with clients to gather security requirements, identify risks, and propose configurations and remediation actions * Develop project deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, and compliance remediation documentation * Contribute to business development, internal training, and practice development related to Microsoft cloud security services Tasks * 4+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, design, or cloud security implementation in Azure * 4+ years designing and implementing cloud security solutions across public, private, or hybrid clouds * 4+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies * 4+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based infrastructure configuration * 3+ years of experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CWPP technologies * Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services like Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI (data protection, IAM, model scanning) * Ability to travel ~50% depending on client and industry * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel up to 50% depending on work and clients * disability accommodations * professional development opportunities * flexible work arrangements * comprehensive onboarding and mentorship
