Digital Assets Regulatory Management Manager

Experteer Overview In this Manager role, you guide digital asset risk and regulatory programs, leading engagements and teams to translate complex rules into actionable solutions. You serve as the primary advisor on regulatory, risk, and licensing topics, shaping end-to-end risk management and compliance for digital asset initiatives. You’ll drive strategic, future-ready operating models and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted outcomes. This role offers impact at scale within Deloitte’s Digital Assets practice, leveraging data, AI, and industry insights to create value. Compensation / Benefits * Oversee end-to-end client projects on digital asset risk, regulatory compliance, and licensing, including scoping and deliverables * Lead as day-to-day engagement liaison on regulatory, risk, and licensing topics * Direct teams evaluating traditional and digital asset processes, risks, and controls across banking and capital markets * Navigate U.S. regulatory landscape and licensing requirements for digital assets (e.g., GENIUS Act) * Design and optimize risk management strategies and internal controls to align with evolving regulations * Conceive strategic views on innovation in banking/capital markets and its impact on risk/compliance * Translate regulatory and risk topics into roadmaps, policies, and technical analyses * Monitor market and regulatory trends to inform client strategy and compliance posture * Lead client communications, executive updates, and consensus-building across stakeholders * Mentor and develop team members, supporting Deloitte’s talent strategy * Support business development through opportunity identification and proposal writing Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field * Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services, consulting, or related field with risk/regulatory/compliance in digital and/or traditional banking and markets * Expertise in banking/capital markets infrastructures, asset lifecycles, and risk frameworks * Deep understanding of U.S. regulatory environment and digital asset licensing/registration experience * Experience leading teams in designing and implementing risk/compliance programs for digital assets * Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts to diverse audiences in technical, policy, and executive deliverables * Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams with high quality and timeliness * Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills * Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities; coaching capability * Ability to travel up to 75% * Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship * Preferred qualifications: cross-functional leadership, licensing processes, regulatory tech, blockchain analytics, advanced degree/certifications, thought leadership, mentoring experience * Experience leveraging generative AI for regulatory intelligence and risk management Key requirements *
