Applied AI Software Engineer III

Experteer Overview In this role you will build high-visibility full-stack products with GenAI capabilities, delivering tangible business value. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ship end-to-end solutions, balancing customer outcomes with cost-aware engineering. You will lead and influence technical direction while staying hands-on with modern frameworks and AI-driven features. Compensation / Benefits * Own outcomes-driven engineering solutions with lean design and cost considerations for inference and cloud usage * Act as technical advocate, ensuring code integrity and alignment with business goals; lead requirements, design, development, testing, integration and support * Maintain code quality and architecture adherence; stay hands-on and continuously learn new languages/frameworks * Develop lean, customer-centric solutions through rapid experimentation and engagement with product teams and customers * Deliver lean, maintainable solutions through incremental, evidence-based delivery * Collaborate across cross-functional teams (product, experience, delivery) to balance feasibility, usability, and value * Apply advanced software engineering practices including AI/agentic SSDLC for end-to-end automation and quality checks * Acquire domain knowledge quickly and translate user needs into technical specs and code * Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and influence decisions * Engage with customers and product teams to co-create feasible solutions Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, data science, machine learning, or related field * 5+ years experience with Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, C#, .NET, Java, SQL/NoSQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, and unit testing frameworks * 3+ years building AI/ML and agentic applications with GenAI experience across LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source), RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, vector databases, evaluations, and AI agent orchestration * 3+ years cloud-native engineering with FaaS/PaaS/microservices on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including AI/ML services and cost-aware engineering (FinOps) * Experience with XP/Lean/DevSecOps/SRE/ADO/GitHub/SonarQube/MLflow and agentic AI frameworks (LangFuse/LangSmith) or similar tools * Ability to travel ~10% and be located within commutable distance to select locations; ability to work in local office 3+ days/week * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available Key requirements *
