Cyber Manager - AI SOC

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead hands-on security engineering work to modernize security operations across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, and AI-enabled workflows. You will be embedded with client teams, translating needs into production-ready security capabilities and integrations in live environments. You’ll drive solution design, deployments, and automation patterns while mentoring junior practitioners. This is a client-facing opportunity to shape resilient security operations for diverse industries with a focus on practical impact and scalable engineering. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement secure, scalable security operations solutions across SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, case management, and response platforms * Serve as an embedded engineering lead with client teams to translate workflows into production security capabilities * Oversee deployment of log ingestion, normalization, enrichment, routing, detection, and orchestration workflows via APIs, connectors, and data pipelines * Apply automation and AI to security operations, including triage, workflow orchestration, alert summarization, and response recommendations * Mentor junior practitioners and contribute reusable engineering assets and implementation patterns Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field * 10+ years in security operations, detection engineering, security engineering, or enterprise cyber defense * Hands-on experience designing and optimizing SIEM, SOAR, telemetry, and response workflows * Experience building and maintaining integrations, automations, and engineering workflows using Python or similar scripting language * Experience translating operational requirements to technical security solutions * Ability to travel ~50% Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * travel up to 50% * reasonable accommodations available
