Microsoft Identity Entra ID Senior Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role, you help clients strengthen resilience around identity, access, and platform security by guiding Microsoft identity deployments and governance. You work with cross-functional teams to design and implement Entra ID and Active Directory solutions, perform security assessments, and advise on post-implementation optimization. You’ll operate in a fast-paced consulting environment, delivering measurable improvements in identity security and modern authentication. Compensation / Benefits * Assess and optimize Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments (tenant config, MFA, SSO, CA, identity provider migrations) * Architect and implement AD and Entra ID deployments, migrations, upgrades, and domain consolidations * Conduct health checks, discovery, cleanup, and security assessments of AD services (DNS, DHCP, GPO, privileged groups, service accounts, DR readiness) * Support application and directory integrations across Entra ID, AD, LDAP, Azure B2B/ B2C, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect * Advise clients on security operations, reporting, threat protection, troubleshooting, and post-implementation reviews of Microsoft identity platforms Tasks * 4+ years in technical consulting, problem solving, and solution architecture for Microsoft identity platforms (AD and Entra ID) * 4+ years implementing and operating Entra ID including CA, SSO, MFA, PAM, PIM, and app integrations * 4+ years implementing and operating Active Directory (ADFS, domain/domain forest recovery, GPOs, managed service accounts, security groups, trusts, federation) * Ability to travel 25-50% * Bachelor’s or higher in related fields; Masters optional?
