Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you drive strategy and design for enterprise asset and work management for utilities, guiding cross-functional teams to define outcomes, backlogs, and functional design. You will lead workshops to capture processes and requirements, translate them into epics and user stories, and coordinate delivery across build, test, and change activities. You mentor junior staff and steer multi-workstream initiatives with clients, leveraging Deloitte’s industry solutions to accelerate digital transformation in power, utilities and renewables. This position offers meaningful client impact through modernization of asset and data platforms. Compensation / Benefits * Lead functional strategy, requirements definition, and solution design for IFS Cloud Enterprise Asset Management and Work Management for utility clients * Guide business and technical teams in defining user outcomes, shaping backlogs, and producing Functional Design Documents * Lead client workshops to document processes, pain points, outcomes, assumptions, dependencies, and non-functional requirements * Oversee translation of requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps or similar tools with traceability * Drive design decisions, stakeholder alignment, and delivery coordination across build, testing, change management, and client presentations; mentor junior team members and lead workstreams Tasks * Bachelor’s degree * 5+ years of experience with utility clients or utilities sector including 5+ years in asset management, asset performance management, or work management in gas/electric utilities * Experience implementing Enterprise Asset Management solutions such as IFS, including IFS Cloud * 3+ years leading technical product design for enterprise platforms; writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional design documentation; proficient with PowerPoint, Word, Excel * 2+ years specifying integration requirements using APIs, events, or batch; including field mapping, system-of-record alignment, latency, and error handling * Ability to travel 50% * Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Key requirements *
