Cyber Palo Alto Networks Security Engineer/ Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation

Experteer Overview In this role, you help modernize client networks by steering cloud-delivered zero trust architectures and Palo Alto Networks platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. You will design, deploy, and optimize NGFWs and Prisma Access, enabling secure, resilient transformations for large enterprises. You work with cross-functional teams to translate security concepts into practical, scalable solutions and contribute to a leading cyber strategy practice. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks NGFWs across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Implement and optimize Prisma Access (GlobalProtect, Prisma Agent, Prisma Browser) for secure internet and remote access * Administer Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager for centralized policy management and visibility * Configure and tune Threat Prevention, IPS/IDS, Anti-Spyware, Antivirus, WildFire, DNS Security, and SSL/TLS decryption policies * Develop client solution designs integrating Palo Alto platforms with SIEM/SOAR and identity tools; support automation via Terraform, Ansible, or Python * Contribute to security architecture discussions, policy lifecycle management, and cloud-native deployments with major cloud providers * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise SASE/Zero Trust transformations and client roadmaps * Provide guidance and lead projects or workstreams in fast-paced environments Tasks * BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience * PCNSE certification * 5+ years in network security engineering with Palo Alto technologies * 5+ years designing/deploying NGFWs in on-premises and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) * 3+ years Prisma Access experience (GlobalProtect, Prisma Agent, Prisma Browser) * 3+ years Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager experience * 3+ years configuring Threat Prevention features (IPS/IDS, Anti-Spyware, Antivirus, WildFire, DNS Security) * 3+ years SSL/TLS Decryption policy implementation and troubleshooting * 3+ years defining/managing security policies and policy lifecycles * 3+ years working with one or more cloud providers and deploying VM-Series in cloud * Ability to travel up to 50% * Preferred: advanced cybersecurity certifications and automation experience Key requirements *
