Job description

Seeking a Senior Java Modernization Engineer to support a largescale migration of legacy Perlbased applications to a modern Java platform The role involves developing Javabased frameworks FTPSFTP integrations workflow orchestration data processing pipelines batch applications and productionready enterprise services using Spring Boot and related technologies, Analyze and migrate legacy Perl scripts into scalable Java applications

Develop reusable frameworks using Java Spring Boot Maven and enterprise design patterns

Build secure FTPSFTP integrations and fileprocessing utilities

Design and implement workflow orchestration using Spring Batch Apache Camel or equivalent technologies

Develop data ingestion parsing transformation and validation components

Integrate with Oracle databases and build optimized JDBCbased solutions

Convert complex batch processing logic related to pricing reporting performance and calculations

Implement automated testing CICD pipelines monitoring logging and exception handling

Support UAT parallelrun validation production cutover and legacy application decommissioning

Create technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer activities

Requirements

8 years of Java development experience

Strong expertise in Java 1117 Spring Boot Spring Batch Maven and REST APIs

Experience with Apache Camel workflow orchestration or enterprise integration patterns

Handson experience with FTPSFTP integrations file processing and ETLdata pipelines

Strong SQL and OracleJDBC development experience

Experience with CICD Git Jenkins SonarQube and automated testing frameworks

Strong understanding of objectoriented design multithreading and performance optimization

Experience with logging monitoring and production support

Skills

Mandatory Skills : Apache Spark, Java, Java Microservices, Java SpringBoot
