Associate Principal - Product Engineering

Experteer Overview In this role you drive the modernization of legacy Perl applications by migrating them to a scalable Java platform. You will build Java-based frameworks, integrate secure file transfers, design workflow orchestration, and develop data processing pipelines using Spring Boot and related technologies. You work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready services and contribute to a large-scale migration program that reduces technical debt and accelerates capabilities. You will shape the architecture and pipelines that support pricing, reporting, and data processing at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Analyze and migrate legacy Perl scripts into scalable Java applications * Develop reusable frameworks using Java Spring Boot Maven and enterprise design patterns * Build secure FTPS/SFTP integrations and file-processing utilities * Design and implement workflow orchestration using Spring Batch Apache Camel or equivalent technologies * Develop data ingestion parsing transformation and validation components * Integrate with Oracle databases and build optimized JDBC-based solutions * Convert complex batch processing logic related to pricing reporting performance and calculations * Implement automated testing CICD pipelines monitoring logging and exception handling * Support UAT parallel-run validation production cutover and legacy application decommissioning * Create technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer activities Tasks * 8 years of Java development experience * Strong expertise in Java 11/17 Spring Boot Spring Batch Maven and REST APIs * Experience with Apache Camel workflow orchestration or enterprise integration patterns * Hands-on experience with FTPS/SFTP integrations file processing and ETL/data pipelines * Strong SQL and Oracle JDBC development experience * Experience with CICD Git Jenkins SonarQube and automated testing frameworks * Strong understanding of object-oriented design multithreading and performance optimization * Experience with logging monitoring and production support Key requirements *
