GTS - Software Engineer Team Lead

Experteer Overview Lead the design and development of next-gen manufacturing software for VVG, bridging shop-floor equipment with enterprise systems. You will mentor a software team and collaborate with production, controls, and operations to deliver high-value solutions. You’ll shape digital transformation initiatives across OT/IT, including PLCs, MES, and data analytics. This role offers impact across divisions and a chance to work with cutting-edge manufacturing tech. Compensation / Benefits * Lead a team of software engineers in building and supporting production software systems * Mentor colleagues through code reviews and architecture discussions * Architect and develop enterprise and manufacturing apps using C# and .NET * Design interfaces with PLCs, sensors, HMIs, and production equipment * Develop and support Ignition and/or Litmus platforms * Create integrations between OT and IT systems (MES, SQL, ERP, cloud) * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value solutions * Drive software architecture, testing, security, and DevOps practices * Lead technical research, proof-of-concepts, and vendor evaluations * Support continuous improvement via data collection, visualization, and analytics * Maintain safety practices and housekeeping as a core requirement Tasks * 3+ years of experience leading technical teams or software projects * 7+ years of professional software development * Willingness to travel infrequently for meetings/trainings * Location: Norfolk, NE or Chemung, NY (office-based) * Proficiency in C# and .NET (preferred) * Experience with manufacturing environments and software-hardware integration (PLC/OT) Key requirements * Medical, Dental, Vision * Disability Insurance * 401K and Roth accounts * Profit sharing * Pay-for-performance bonuses * Paid parental leave
