Infrastructure Engineer

Experteer Overview As Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage a secure, highly available HashiCorp Vault platform while shaping enterprise-grade secrets management. You will drive automation for Vault provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform, and collaborate with security, platform engineering, and product teams to deliver robust Vault solutions. You will tackle complex multi-cloud integrations, PKI, replication, and performance optimizations, enabling secure, scalable access to secrets. This role offers hands-on stewardship, continuous improvement, and on-call rotation to sustain secure vault deployments across the organization. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and manage Vault platform with minimal supervision * Automate Vault provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform * Define and enforce Vault standards for secrets, auth, and permissions * Address complex cloud-native and multi-cloud integration challenges (Kubernetes auth, PKI, replication, performance) * Collaborate with security, platform engineering, application teams, product owners, and vendors * Troubleshoot advanced Vault issues (HA, unseal, auth, secret engines) * Implement Vault capabilities (static/dynamic secrets, PKI, dynamic DB secrets, namespaces) * Mentor and onboard engineering teams on Vault and provide technical recommendations * Drive automation, performance tuning, reliability, and security hardening across Vault deployments * Provide on-call support on a rotational basis Tasks * 5+ years in Technology Infrastructure Engineering or equivalent * 3+ years hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault (enterprise design, deployment, automation) * Experience with Enterprise Change Management and compliance-driven environments * Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub * Solid Linux system administrationExperience with Vault lifecycle (installation, upgrades, HA, scaling) Key requirements *
