Software Engineer Team Lead

Product Trio (Engineering, Product Management, Product Design), collaborating closely to drive the squad’s day-to-day operations and decision-making. - Define team goals, track performance, and ensure a clear and effective prioritization of tasks. - Identify team needs, remove blockers, and foster a healthy, autonomous, and high-performing environment. - Drive team development through 1:1s, feedback, performance reviews, and career growth plans. - Promote a culture of continuous feedback, psychological safety, and collaboration. - Ensure Agile practices and engineering standards are properly applied within the team. - Lead and support technical decision-making, code quality, and overall system health. - Oversee and improve technical and public documentation, ensuring knowledge is shared and accessible. - Collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure alignment and delivery of value. - Support the team hands-on when needed, contributing to development tasks. WHAT WILL MAKE

YOU SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION? - Experience of more than 4 years development teams or projects in a senior capacity. - Previous experience as a manager (at least 2+ year). - Strong ability to balance technical leadership with people management. - Fluency in Spanish and English. - Interest or background in mathematics is a strong plus. TECHNICAL SKILLS - Strong programming experience in PHP and/or Java. - Solid understanding of software architecture and infrastructure (cloud, client-server, APIs). - Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation. - Good understanding of mathematical concepts. SOFT SKILLS - Clear and assertive communication. - Strong empathy, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution skills. - Ability to provide constructive feedback and grow others. - Motivation and inspiration of teams. - Strong ownership, accountability, and decision-making. - Good time management, prioritization, and process orientation. - Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript (Vue.js). - Knowledge of MathML. - Experience with Docker or Infrastructure as Code. - Experience with Git, NPM, Composer. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
