JavaScript Developer UI React TypeScript - Up to 90,000 p/aQuant Capital is urgently looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our high profile client.Our client is a 60 man Fintech business who has created a market leading product in the financial data market. Details of the full ideas of the company are protected by a Non-Disclosure agreement but they are at the bleeding edge of not only product ideas but also technology and data manipulation.TypeScript / React / Redux / Styled Components / Apollo GraphQL / Webpack / Jest / Cypress / PrettierWe are growing our UI team to develop new features for our exciting frontend product built in React, as well as maintaining existing features and occasionally porting features from a legacy Angular codebase. Additionally we are responsible for our GraphQL API built in node.js and Apollo to interact with a microservice backend layer. The team’s mandate is to create an entirely new user experience and engineer the UI with the best and latest technologies.Work with the product team to prototype and deliver features for the UICollaborate with server side developers to add new featuresBe responsible for visual consistency of the UIYou believe in the agile approach of breaking long term projects into small deliveries to achieve rapid changes. You are keen on learning more and contributing your knowledge back to your peers inside and outside the office.Development is agile and fast paced. The day begins with a short scrum at which tasks will be distributed and any road-blocks cleared. Work is test driven, with unit tests implemented first to be run in a continuous integration environment. Only then do they write code. To deliver quickly you will leverage the best of the open source community, sometimes substituting your own solutions where greater performance is needed. You will be encouraged to evangelise and prototype new technologies and through doing so you will help shape the architecture.JavaScript

Developers Must Have most of the below (gives you a good idea of tech stack)Deep knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSSExperience of backend systems such as node.js, GraphQL and RESTUse of modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Styled Components, Apollo GraphQLUX and visual design skills are a plusYou will be joining a progressive and exciting company committed to excellence.
