Project Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and coordinate project-wide systems engineering to deliver safe, integrated and regulation-compliant solutions. You will ensure traceable, multi-disciplinary outputs align with project requirements and drive technical leadership across teams. Pay / Benefits * Lead and coordinate project-wide systems engineering activities to deliver safe, effective, and integrated engineering solutions * Define, manage, and control project-level requirements with full traceability * Ensure integration of outputs from multiple disciplines into a viable system solution * Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and drive engineering excellence * Support structured decision-making balancing technical, safety, programme and project requirements * Ensure engineering scope is defined, controlled, verified, and validated from concept through delivery * Champion a robust systems engineering approach meeting quality, safety, regulatory, and customer requirements Tasks * Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline * Membership of a relevant professional engineering institution * Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or demonstrable path toward chartership (desirable) * Significant experience in an engineering design environment with systems thinking and integration * Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering coordination * Experience defining and managing project-level requirements including traceability * Experience facilitating structured requirements and value management workshops * Experience ensuring traceability between requirements, design outputs, and verification strategy * Experience supporting technical optioneering and structured decision-making * Experience identifying and managing cross-discipline technical and interface risks * Experience developing and maintaining systems-level documentation (requirements, architectures, interface control documents) * Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments * Strong stakeholder management and ability to build technical consensus Key requirements *
