DATACENTRE OPERATIONS ENGINEER - HPC INFRASTRUCTURE Lefdal Mine Datacentre, Norway

involving thousands of servers.Key Responsibilities * Deploy servers, networking equipment, and structured cabling across the datacentre * Install and replace hardware components (e.g. drives, PCIe cards, NICs) * Support high-speed networking infrastructure and related cabling (fibre, transceivers, etc.) * Coordinate with vendors for on-site services, logistics, and RMAs * Oversee shipping, supply chain logistics, and international hardware movements * Support rollout of major infrastructure projects, including server expansion and network upgrades * Contribute to the evaluation and selection of networking hardware and componentsWhat You’ll Need * Strong hands-on experience in datacentre operations and infrastructure * Good understanding of high-speed networking, cabling standards, and optical components * Comfortable working with server hardware and network gear (installations, diagnostics, replacements) * Familiar with international logistics and hardware inventory management
