Position Overview:The role of the Ultra Low Latency Network Specialist is to ensure the stability and integrity of all aspects that comprise the Squarepoint global trading collocation network which includes infrastructure in 30 data centre sites across AMER, APAC and EMEA.The Ultra Low Latency Network Specialist will oversee and participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, optimization, and documentation of all network hardware, security hardware, software and connectivity. This includes managing multiple projects and configuring/optimizing the network to ensure ultra-low latency is achieved for intraday trading and direct market access systems. This team collaborates and are closely aligned with trading systems developers, enabling the technology team to deliver an optimal trading platform. The minimum base salary for this role is $120,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. Successful candidates’ compensation and benefits will be determined in consideration of various factors.
