Lead Data Scientist - Loans120,000 Plus 10% BonusRemote Working 2 days per month in the officeThis role is within Sub Prime FintechQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join our high profile client.My Client is a well known global (yet not too corporate) retail and institutional credit business. Circa 500,000 single data points per month.This role is with an exciting business in the consumer lending space. They have grown significantly over the past few years and are looking to add a motivated and experienced individual to lead their growing data science function. This role offers the chance to work end-to-end across a range of credit models in the business and take on a challenging role which will give you excellent exposure and experience in the credit modelling space.There is significant scope within the role to shape and build the data environment requirements. There are very limited restrictions on tools or resources to drive the data function forward.Day to day the Lead Data Scientist will:Review all of the firms data in order to create new models through; customer attraction, retention, evaluation and failure rate.Asses and build new customer models outside of the credit modelling area.Monitor existing underwriting models and credit scorecards which are in production and regularly report on their impact to performance of the credit book.Augment existing models/scorecards to suit changing business requirements.Support with existing stored procedures (MSSQL) and build new as required.Lead Data Scientists should have:Strong MSSQLPower BISASExperience within Financial services, ideally retail financeAble to converse clearly and concisely in English (verbally and written)AI ToolingThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
