Senior Data Scientist - Fintech/Financing110,000 Plus 10% BonusRemote Working 2 days per month in the officeQuant Capital is urgently looking for a Data Scientist to join our high profile client.My Client is a well known global (yet not too corporate) financial software (fintech) business that has developed a unique proprietary front office lending solution.This role is with an exciting business in the consumer lending space. They have grown significantly over the past few years and are looking to add a motivated and experienced individual to lead their growing data science function. This role offers the chance to work end-to-end across a range of credit models in the business and take on a challenging role which will give you excellent exposure and experience in the credit modelling space.Day to Day the Senior Data Scientist will:Build a new Data WarehouseBuild out a new set of credit modelWork across the current range of credit models within the businessDevelop challenger models to improve and enhance the modelling suiteMonitor and report on these models, taking oversight across the modelling processLead Data Scientists should have:5 years of Data Science experienceData scientist with real hands-on experienceMust have worked in the financial sectorResponsible for creating models/scorecards which are used in production (experience not required)Able to converse clearly and concisely in English (verbally and written)Strong SQLStrong skills in Python/SQL or RStrong understanding of data warehousingAI ToolingThe environment is that of Facebook or Google, relaxed open with time to think and make the right decisions.
