Experteer Overview As a DNM Performance Engineer you translate alerts into actions to prevent issues, embedding predictive thinking in wastewater networks and treatment. You’ll work within the Operational Intelligence team to improve alert quality and drive proactive, data-led decisions. The role links network and treatment performance to deliver a whole-system improvement, reducing risks and strengthening resilience. A key focus is developing Dynamic Treatment Management alongside DNM to enable smarter, end-to-end operations. Pay / Benefits * Own and optimise DNM alert logic to ensure meaningful signals that trigger the right actions * Establish governance frameworks for consistent, reliable alerts aligned with priorities * Support development and embedding of Dynamic Treatment Management (DTM) capabilities * Use data and insights to improve treatment performance and reduce risk across works * Contribute to a whole-system view by linking network and treatment performance * Drive continuous improvement in alert interpretation and response definitions * Champion data accuracy and systems ownership to maximise decision quality * Engage with maintenance teams to translate alerts into practical actions * Support incident understanding, reporting and regulatory analysis Tasks * HNC in civil or process engineering with strong experience in wastewater operations * Experience in wastewater environments is highly desirable * Strong problem-solving with proficient IT systems use * Excellent communication and influencing skills to translate data for diverse audiences * Highly developed analytical skills to present data clearly for action * Experience with governance of alerting or performance data (preferred) Key requirements * 26 days annual leave rising to 30 with service * pension with up to 14% employer contribution * life cover * performance bonus up to 7.5% * company funded healthcare plan and wellbeing support * Employee Assistance Programme
