Job description

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to design and build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for electronic credit execution platforms. In this role, you’ll work closely with traders, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver real-time, data-driven applications that support critical trading workflows., * Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for electronic credit trading platforms, enabling real-time market interaction

  • Build advanced, scalable UI applications using Angular and React, ensuring consistency and quality across systems
  • Collaborate closely with credit traders, product managers, and cross-functional technology teams to deliver user-centric solutions
  • Establish and advocate for frontend best practices, including accessibility, performance optimization, and maintainability
  • Create and maintain reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design patterns across platforms
  • Partner with frontend teams to drive standardization and promote reuse across the organization
  • Enhance and support existing applications in alignment with business priorities and technology strategy
  • Provide production support for mission-critical systems, including troubleshooting and resolving real-time issues
  • Contribute to agile development processes alongside portfolio managers, analytics teams, and engineers
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and documentation efforts

Requirements

  • We are looking for a mid level developer with 5+ years of experience working within the enterprise environment
  • Fin-tech experience would be huge
  • BS degree is required, but if you have more years of experience with no degree, we will consider
  • Hourly Rate is up to 66/hour
  • We are looking for strong UI/UX experience, strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript; strong front end experience with Angular and/or React; familiarity with Restful APIs and modern frontend integration patterns, * Strong understanding of UX principles, design systems, and component-based architecture
  • Proven experience building complex, data-driven web applications using Angular and/or React
  • Experience developing and maintaining shared UI/component libraries
  • Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern frontend integration patterns
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in financial services; exposure to fixed income or electronic trading is a plus
  • Understanding of credit products (e.g., government and corporate bonds), or a strong willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with both technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across global, distributed teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Experience building UIs for trading, execution, or analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of fixed income trade lifecycle concepts
  • Familiarity with the FIX Protocol
  • Experience supporting production systems used by trading desks

Benefits & conditions

$60 - $68 an hour - Full-time, Contract
