Job description
We are seeking a Warehouse Solutions Transformation IT Manhattan Active (MAWM)
techno-functional partner who wants to be part of a high-caliber team building our
supply chain of the future! While this role is focused on warehouse management
functions, this role will be deeply impactful at the program-level, ensuring the big-picture
technology landscape which supports all aspects of the supplier, customer, and internal
business experience. In this role, you’ll be responsible for being the IT partner for the
organization’s businesses, strategic IT partners and other internal IT partner to ensure
IT systems enable their desired value. You will work with a team of technology experts
to develop and execute innovative solutions that revolutionize our warehouse
operations including standing up our first automated forward distribution center and
migrating existing distribution to Manhattan Active. You’ll be working closely with
business product owners, subject matter experts, and other development teams to
organize and deliver on mission critical initiatives. To accomplish that, this job family
identifies and analyzes business needs, defines requirements and objectives, and
makes recommendations for solutions using new and existing technologies. This job
family also may serves as the primary design lead for the various initiatives engaged,
development of functionality within MAWM and the role MAWM plays within the
pharmaceutical IT ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the system development lifecycle (SDLC) of Manhattan Active
implementation for new greenfield distribution centers as well as the migration of
existing distribution centers to Manhattan Active platform - focus areas: inbound
functionality and labor management (LM)
- Understand product development business requirements and work to achieve the
scalable solutions in various software platforms. Provide technical guidance and
lead functionality that will shape the future of Pharma distribution (incl. non-
functional requirements)
- Responsible for upstream and downstream application impacts associated with
WMS functionality and data flow in support of MAWM functionality (ERP,
transportation platforms, track and trace platforms, etc.)
- Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely
resolution of system issues including but not limited to testing issues and
production outages.

Responsible for root cause analysis

Investigates business operations, identifies causes behind the results achieved,
and articulates the effects of those results on the business.
- Collaborate with software vendor partners like Manhattan, automation vendors,
and act as a technical SME/liaison by understanding the application architecture,
schema and existing or future interfaces, application enhancements and projects.
- Plan and address the stability, risk, and recovery concerns of WMS application
suite by collaborating with software vendor, shared services, and managed
services partners.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps team, managed services partners on implementing
DevSecOps practices.
- Exhibit general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not
limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and
integration technologies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of software development techniques, software
languages, system integrations, and hardware/software platforms
Requirements

12+ years of experience preferred
-
Strong Experience with Manhattan MAWM product, or comparable to Manhattan
Warehouse Management products preferred
- Understanding of supply chain and warehouse management processes and how
they relate to warehouse operations.
- Ability to connect dots within WMS functions, custom built applications supporting
operations, integrations with upstream and downstream systems (ERP,
transportation, track and trace, etc.)

High energy level, a team player, excellent collaborator, and a self-starter.

Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal, including the
ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with Linux and SQL server, Postgres, with querying and
basic database administration skills.
- Experience in planning and executing Manhattan Active implementations and
migrations
- System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including requirement
analysis and system design, and/or software engineering principles.

Excellent leadership, project management, analytical & communications skills.

BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
