Infrastructure Solutions Architect 5

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and govern enterprise data structures and information flows to enable secure, integrated data use across state systems. You will collaborate with project managers, data stewards, and IT teams to define standards, model data, and maintain metadata and architectures. You’ll lead architecture decisions for on-premises and cloud deployments, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalable solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Coordinate data models and promote data sharing while reducing redundancy * Develop and maintain the statewide data model for cross-application use * Define data standards, procedures, and guidelines ensuring data quality and security * Create and maintain the metadata repository with data descriptions and data flow diagrams * Lead architecture reviews, validate technical designs, and ensure architectural integrity * Support SDT sessions and facilitate environment consolidation, migration, or integration efforts * Develop data management strategy focusing on security and retention * Provide guidance on data entities, dependencies, and relationships * Review EA Solution Patterns and update project management and technical documents * Recommend software integration approaches and advise developers on integration opportunities Tasks * Bachelor’s Degree * 8+ years of RHEL experience * 8+ years of Windows Server experience * Experience with AppServer environments (Weblogic/WebSphere/JBoss) * Design and architecture for native/hybrid cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) * Strong SQL and Oracle knowledge * 3+ years of Network Administration experience * 3+ years of SQL experience * 5+ years creating/updating system documentation * Experience with Visio/Lucidchart/Draw.io for diagrams * IIS/Apache/WAF administration/architecture * Database deployment for Oracle/MSSQL (redundant/scalable) * Security-focused networking/web application/database hardening * Programming exposure (C#/Java/Python/Bash/PowerShell) * CI/CD tools experience (Ansible/Jenkins/SonarQube/Artifactory/Veracode) * IaaS/PaaS/SaaS deployments and IaaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) * Container orchestration (K8s/OpenShift) * Cloudflare experience Key requirements * Medical, dental, vision * 401k * Term life * Disability insurance * Work-visa sponsorship * Opportunity for advancement
