Data Product Owner

Experteer Overview In this role, you will own data products that power strategic decisions across Roche. You will bridge business, data engineering, and governance to deliver secure, high-quality data that supports customer insights, financial intelligence, and operational efficiency. You’ll drive a data product roadmap, enforce governance and data quality, and enable self-serve analytics while staying compliant with healthcare regulations. Compensation / Benefits * Define and execute a data product roadmap aligned with business priorities * Collaborate with stakeholders to turn high-value data opportunities into scalable products * Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and compliance * Advocate for data as a product and ensure accessibility across the organization * Establish governance policies, data definitions, and quality controls * Define and enforce data SLAs, lineage, and metadata management * Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security * Act as liaison between RDT data engineers, business leaders, analysts, and platform teams * Collaborate with Global RDT data platform team to enable self-serve analytics * Champion data democratization and secure, timely data access * Define and track KPIs for data product performance and impact * Utilize data-driven insights to improve products and align with evolving needs * Stay ahead on data mesh, AI-driven analytics, and healthcare data innovation Tasks * 5+ years in data product management, data governance, or data engineering (preferably in healthcare) * Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements * Technical proficiency in SQL, data modeling, cloud platforms (Snowflake), and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) * Strong ability to identify data quality issues and collaborate on root-cause analysis * Experience managing enterprise data assets and products that enhance decision-making * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience * Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills * Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data regulations Key requirements * discretionary annual bonus * benefits package (as detailed in the linked policy) * opportunity to impact healthcare outcomes
